- Server/security logs: typically up to 12 months, unless needed longer for security or compliance.
7) Your rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act you can request to access and correct your personal information. To make a request, contact us at info@palisadesecurity.co.
If you have concerns, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (New Zealand). We’re committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly.
EU/UK visitors: You may also have rights to deletion, restriction, portability, and to object. Where applicable, you can withdraw consent at any time (this won’t affect prior lawful processing).
8) Cookies & tracking
We use essential cookies for site operation and security, and may use optional analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings. If you enable an in-site cookie banner, your choices will be honoured.
9) Email marketing
If you join our mailing list, we’ll send occasional updates. Each email includes an unsubscribe link. We also honour direct requests to be removed from our lists.
10) Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS/TLS, restricted access, backups, updated software). No method is 100% secure, so we encourage you to report any suspected issue immediately.
11) Third-party links & embedded content
Our site may include links or embeds (e.g., maps, videos). Those services may collect data according to their own policies. We’re not responsible for third-party sites.
12) Changes to this policy
